Despite the tough economy, North Hills is poised for huge growth. Check out the video below for a segment from NBC-17, which dicusses the $1 billion expansion of North Hills across Six Forks Road. As we’ve mentioned before, the area will be a mixed-use development featuring retail (250,000 square feet), offices and residential living. I enjoyed checking out the cars at the 13th annual Triangle British Classic Car Show on Saturday at North Hills. There were some awesome cars from makers such as Austin-Healey, MG, Lotus, Triumph and a few others. Check out a few videos and pictures I got from the event.

I just got back from an awesome weekend at the beach so that’s why I’m only just now writing about last Thursday. The Midtown Music Series was once again packed on Thursday as Liquid Pleasure performed and the weather was outstanding. Today I was at North Hills for lunch with my buddy Noah from Look to the Right Internet Marketing. We noticed that Kerry Catherine Jewelry was having a sale. I’m not sure how long this sale will last (was in a hurry and hungry for lunch at Five Guys so I didn’t ask), so head over there and check it out if you’re planning on buying some jewelry anytime soon.

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. From what I’ve heard the Christmas Tree Lighting at North Hills on Nov. 22 was a great event. I stopped by before everything got started but I couldn’t stay for the entire thing. Based on what I saw, it looked like Kane Realty really went all out for this event with:

carolers
horse and carriage rides
rickshaw rides
trolley rides
real snow from snow blowers on top of a few buildings
