Joshua Long was at Midtown/North Hills Friday night and rocked out, playing a mix of cover songs and originals to a decent-sized crowd. Families really seem to be enjoying this Emerging Artists music series, probably as much for the kid-friendly atmosphere as for the music. Parents usually let their kids run around on the grass, dance and play while they listen to the music. Today my buddy Taylor Barr met me for lunch at Cinelli’s Pizza at North Hills. I am a huge fan of the restaurant, but Taylor had never eaten there before. We sat outside and both ordered the lunch special (2 pieces of pizza and a drink). You can choose from a few different styles of pizza at Cinelli’s but I always go with “Grandma’s Pizza.”
