ArtSource is ringing in the New Year with a music-themed exhibition, “Jazzy January,” January 1 – 31, 2009.  This exhibition will feature a selection of artwork that celebrates all that is musical.   Not only will this exhibition feature paintings of musicians, singers, and instruments, but also will present artwork inspired by music.  Come by both galleries, at Five Points and North Hills,  to see paintings of jazz musicians cranking out the tunes, elegant orchestras & masked balls rendered in oils, electric guitars fabricated out of steel, abstract paintings titled after Willie Nelson tunes, and more!   Artists featured in “Jazzy January” include Pat Pilkington, Ted Jaslow, Scott Harris, James Kerr, Warren Dennis, Don Mertz, Ben Keys, and other gallery artists.
