Firebirds first opened in Charlotte in 2000, bringing a rocky mountain taste and feel to dining in the Carolinas. Firebirds at North Hills in Raleigh is no different. It’s got great wooden beams and a big moose head that give it a cozy, mountain atmosphere. You can get a whiff of some of the great dishes, such as the Firebirds Chicken Pasta, from the open-air kitchen.

For starters, try the Chicken Tortilla Soup or Ranch Rings. For a main course, meatlovers can’t go wrong with the Aspen Sirloin or Bleu Cheese Filet. Don’t fill up on the bread they give you to start with–it could be the best bread in Raleigh.

Firebirds is open for lunch and dinner. Since they can get busy during dinner, we recommend taking advantage of their call-ahead seating. Check it out and enjoy the Colorado feel and cuisine.
