What’s Your Favorite Fast Restaurant at North Hills?

March 5 2009 7 Comments

Today I went to Chic-Fil-A at North Hills to grab some nuggets and fries for lunch. It was an awesome day outside and it’s only going to get better this weekend!

I was thinking about the restaurants I usually go to during the day and how they’re not quite what you think of as fancy sit-down restaurants, but they’re definitely a step above fast food. This would include places like Chic-Fil-A, Moe’s, Five Guys, McAllister’s, and Q Shack.

These are places where you can get a quality meal in less than 15 minutes. Not fast food but not your typical restaurant. Why not call them, “fast restaurants?” I thought to myself at the time.

It’s hard for me to pick a favorite fast restaurant at North Hills, but if I had to choose it would be between Q Shack, Moe’s and Five Guys. What is YOUR favorite fast restaurant here?

I think the industry term for those types of resturants is QSR – “Quick Serve Restaurant”. Chik Fil A is always a winner but my favorite is probably Q Shack. Its hard to get good bbq around Raleigh but when you do, its so good!

I’m going to have to say Moe’s. Joey Bag of Donuts burrito is where it’s at!

Mark’s right, the industry segmentation is Quick Serve (which at last check, encompasses fast-food and fast casual).

My NH favorite is probably McCallister’s, but I love Chik-Fil-A just about anywhere. Their customer service is top notch. And both have GOOD lemonade :-)

Yeah, I guess Quick Serve is the proper technical term…but what I was talking about is a category that doesn’t include fast food. Maybe Fast-Casual is a better name for it, like you mentioned.

Agree 100% that they both have awesome lemonade!
