Emerging Artists on the Commons
We have some exciting news for those of you who have enjoyed the music at North Hills this summer. A mini-concert series called Emerging Artists on the Commons will kick off this Friday on the lawn across from the movie theater. This mini-series will feature local bands (mostly acoustic pop/rock alt) from 6:30 – 8:30pm every Friday in August. They’ll be using a smaller stage than the one that is set up for the Thursday night music, so the traffic flow won’t be interrupted.
As usual, the shows will be free. Here’s the schedule so far:
August 1 – The Joshua Long Band
August 8 – Old Avenue
August 15 – Erik Smallwood
August 22 – TBD
August 29 – Old Avenue and Friends
I think these shows will definitely appeal to people who may be looking to hear some nice, low-key music on Friday nights. What do you think?
