Certificate highlights commitment to deliver top-notch health care services; Ground breaking on target for second quarter 2009
RALEIGH, N.C. – Feb. 9, 2009 – Kane Realty Corporation and Drucker & Falk LLC today announced that The Cardinal at North Hills has received approval from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to construct a multi-level health care center offering assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing services for residents. The Certificate of Need issued with this approval signals The Cardinal’s adherence to the highest standards in design and operating projections.
Development partners Kane Realty and Drucker & Falk also announced that Duke University Health System will provide a fully-integrated 20,000-square-foot health and wellness center that includes the Duke Center for Living, a fully-equipped fitness facility with state of the art equipment and indoor heated pool, healthy living education, an on-site primary care clinic, and lifelong learning programs. Future residents of The Cardinal will enjoy many opportunities for personalized services, including dedicated concierge services to navigate the full range of Duke’s medical specialties, along with routine health and wellness care.
