Results are in from the North Hills Buzz survey about our flying feathered friends in the Harris Teeter here (not sure if the birds are still there or if they have left by now).
It looks like many of you (48%) feel like Harris Teeter should get rid of the birds, but others thought the birds should be allowed to stay (38%) or didn’t care at all (14%).
Does anyone have any suggestions for our next survey? Let us know by commenting on this post.

North Hills Raleigh is known for its great restaurants, upscale shopping, and arguably the best Target in town. There’s a cinema, and even condominiums. Soon the complex will be home to a fabulous new Renaissance Hotel.
But did you know that North Hills is also a Mecca for health and fitness?
A major destination for Saturday morning marathon runners, Panera Bread Company provides sustenance for haggard, carb-deprived souls after early Saturday morning runs of up to 26.2 miles.
But that’s not all. Flanking Panera are a U.S. Fitness store featuring training equipment and a GNC shop, full of helpful vitamins and fitness supplements.
You may try a session on a treadmill at Gold’s Gym.
Gold’s is not your style? Check out Body Chic, an alternative method for reducing fat and cellulite.
REI can map your path to exploring the great outdoors. Stock your own fitness regimen at Omega Sports.
After a session at Gold’s or biking on your REI mountain bike, re-energize with a healthy dose of Keva Juice, featuring smoothies made of fresh and fruity ingredients.
After running, biking, strengthening, and burning fat, soothe those aching muscles with a relaxing massage and spa treatment from Aveda Von Kekel Salon Spa or Natural Body Spa and Shoppe.
Not interested in being a participant? Grab your buddies and head over to the Fox and Hound to sip a cold beverage and enjoy sports on the big screen.
North Hills touts itself as having something for everyone.
For sports and fitness nuts, outdoors-lovers, or armchair quarterbacks, it’s definitely a happening place to be.

The Harris Teeter at North Hill Raleigh has some great daily sub specials for $2.49. They make the sandwiches right in front of you so you know they’re fresh. At $2.49, you really can’t find a better deal for something that’s made to order and tastes this good.
See below for the daily specials at Harris Teeter. Click the picture for a larger version.

Here’s the dilemna. I live in a nice area (North Hills) in a nice apartment complex (The Alexan). But for some reason, they signed a deal with INC Group so I can’t get Time Warner Cable. The only HD channels I can get are through satellite (Dish Network). So I can’t get local HD channels. I have this great 42 inch plasma TV and I won’t be able to watch the Super Bowl in HD.
Last year I was really excited about the Super Bowl, and tried everything I could think of to get it in HD. I tried getting a big antenna, but still couldn’t pick up any channels. 50 feet of cable and setting up the antenna outside (near the area where the Lassiter is supposed to be built) still didn’t do anything.
I’ve heard rumors that some people can pick up HD channels over the air. Sadly, there’s way to much interference where I am (first floor). Does anyone out know of a solution? Is there a package with INC Group that I’m not aware of that will give me local channels in HD?
