Liquid Pleasure Returns for the Midtown Music Series

Liquid Pleasure will be back at North Hills tomorrow for the 2009 Midtown Music Series. They last played here on May 7 and gave a great performance. Come on out to the Commons (area in front of the movie theater) tomorrow from around 6pm to 9pm for some great music–these events are basically the coolest thing to do in Raleigh on a Thursday.

I just got back from an awesome weekend at the beach so that’s why I’m only just now writing about last Thursday. The Midtown Music Series was once again packed on Thursday as Liquid Pleasure performed and the weather was outstanding. Check out the video below of me walking over to the music (as you can tell, I’m pretty excited about my new sunglasses I got from The Spectacle).

Prior to the music, I met up with Wayne Sutton and we walked over to the Renaissance Hotel. We’re looking for a location for a few upcoming events and I think the Renaissance would be a great location for them. Wayne and I walked around the lobby and 2nd level and looked at some meeting rooms. If you haven’t been to the Renaissance yet, I highly recommend it–very nice bar and meeting areas.

Liquid Pleasure rocked the Commons with some old school songs and their versions of newer songs. This week, Black and Blue will be the featured musical guest so come out to North Hills Raleigh on Thursday and check them out–unfortunately I’m going to miss the music this week, because I’ll be out of town. Midtown Music Series Continues Tomorrow with Liquid Pleasure

Tomorrow (Thursday) from 6pm-9pm the Midtown Music Series continues with a performance by Liquid Pleasure. The band, which has been entertaining audiences for over two decades, last played here at North Hills in October, and they also played here back in July.

Come on out to the Commons tomorrow night for drinks, music and good times.

The Canes take on Boston tonight in game three of the second round of the playoffs. GO CANES!!
