Since their original performance here was rained out, The Attractions will be performing at North Hills on Thursday from 6pm-9m.

The Attractions started playing music in 1965 in Burlington, NC. They were inducted into the Beach Music Hall of Fame in 2001. You can see more about them on their website.

This will be the last Thursday Midtown Music Series event of the year, but you can hear music from some emerging artists this September on Friday nights at North Hills. Click here for the schedule of artists for Friday nights.

The Will McBride Group will be performing THIS FRIDAY at North Hills Commons area, starting at 6:30pm. Boasting a brand new CD “Trifecta”, and being consistently booked for over 50 shows yearly in the area over the last 3 years, The Will McBride Group is a polished group of jazz/funk/pop musicians. If you enjoy jazz-influenced music that satisfies your cool side and moves your backside, The WMG is a MUST SEE. Also, they’ll be giving a free copy of Will’s 2003 release “As Yet…” to each person who purchases a copy of the new “Trifecta”.

The Midtown Music Series is still going strong at North Hills. This Thursday, starting at 6pm, The Coconut Groove Band will be performing over at the Commons (area in front of the movie theater).

According to the band’s website, they play a variety of different styles ranging from Easy Listening, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Island Theme, Rock’n'Roll , Funk and more.

The Craig Woolard Band is returning to North Hills for another performance at the Midtown Music Series on Thursday. The band was here earlier this summer (June 11) and put on a great show. In the words of Craig himself:

Johnny White and the Elite Band will be playing at North Hills tonight from 6pm-9pm for the Midtown Music Series. I’ve heard they put on a great show, but you’ll have to come out to the Commons (area in front of the movie theater) to see if that is true.

On Thursday, the Midtown Music Series continues at North Hills with a performance by The Part Time Party Time Band.

The music starts at 6pm and goes until 9pm. The Part Time Party Time Band has been on the Carolina beach music scene since 1980. These guys put on a great performance, as you can see from the video below:

They last played here on May 7 and gave a great performance. Come on out to the Commons (area in front of the movie theater) tomorrow from around 6pm to 9pm for some great music–these events are basically the coolest thing to do in Raleigh on a Thursday.
