No Local HD Channels at Alexan
Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008Here’s the dilemna. I live in a nice area (North Hills) in a nice apartment complex (The Alexan). But for some reason, they signed a deal with INC Group so I can’t get Time Warner Cable. The only HD channels I can get are through satellite (Dish Network). So I can’t get local HD channels. I have this great 42 inch plasma TV and I won’t be able to watch the Super Bowl in HD.
Last year I was really excited about the Super Bowl, and tried everything I could think of to get it in HD. I tried getting a big antenna, but still couldn’t pick up any channels. 50 feet of cable and setting up the antenna outside (near the area where the Lassiter is supposed to be built) still didn’t do anything.
I’ve heard rumors that some people can pick up HD channels over the air. Sadly, there’s way to much interference where I am (first floor). Does anyone out know of a solution? Is there a package with INC Group that I’m not aware of that will give me local channels in HD?
